Where to buy
I don’t reprint Amazon’s price here — Amazon shows you the live one, which means the number you see is always current rather than whatever I last wrote down.

My verdict
I check prices, not products — this is about whether the current price is real, not a review of how well it protects your PC during an outage. And it holds up: sitting at its lowest tracked price, meaningfully below its real recent average — not a struck-through list price. This is a legitimate line-interactive UPS, not a basic surge-only power strip: automatic voltage regulation, hot-swappable user-replaceable batteries, and a color LCD for diagnostics, aimed at people who want clean power during brownouts, not just a backup beep during a full outage. The tradeoff: at 850VA/530W this is sized for a single desktop and its peripherals, not a full home office or multiple machines — check your actual load before assuming it covers everything plugged into it.
Buy it if
- Desktop PC owners who want real brownout protection, not just a basic surge-only power strip
- Anyone who wants hot-swappable, user-replaceable batteries instead of tossing the whole unit when the battery dies
- Home offices with a single primary workstation — router, monitor, and desktop covered by one unit
Skip it if
- You need to protect more than one desktop setup — 850VA/530W is sized for a single workstation, not a whole office
- You just want basic surge protection — a plain surge-protector strip is far cheaper if you don't need battery backup
- You're running high-draw equipment — check your actual wattage needs against the 530W rating before assuming it covers everything
