My verdict
I check prices, not products — this is about whether the current price is real, not a review of color accuracy or motion clarity. And it holds up: sitting at its lowest tracked price, meaningfully below its real recent average — not a struck-through list price. This is a genuine 4K IPS panel with a 160Hz native refresh rate, and DFR support pushing to 320Hz at a lower resolution mode — real flagship-tier specs for a monitor at this price. The tradeoff: to actually hit 160Hz at full 4K, or 320Hz in DFR mode, you need a GPU capable of pushing those frame rates — this monitor doesn't create performance a weaker graphics card can't deliver.
Buy it if
- PC gamers with a GPU capable of high frame rates at 4K who want a genuine high-refresh 4K panel, not a 1080p or 1440p compromise
- Anyone who wants both sharp 4K detail and high refresh rate in one panel rather than choosing between them
- Buyers who want Acer's Predator-tier build and features at a meaningfully lower price than this monitor's usual range
Skip it if
- Your GPU can't push high frame rates at 4K — the 160Hz/320Hz specs are wasted if your hardware caps out well below that
- You mainly do productivity work — a 4K panel this fast is priced for gaming performance you won't use for office tasks
- You want the absolute cheapest 4K monitor — this is a specific high-refresh niche, not the budget 4K tier
